soo, here goes. holidays suck! yea. am i going nuts or what? haha. the only reason it does is cos i have no discipline to actually sit my bum down on a chair and read a book relevant to the god forsaken spm! yea. i have no idea where the lack of self initiative comes from because genetically i shouldn't be that way. so maybe i'm like a freak child! or then again, the recessive alleles from my parents must have somehow transfered onto my dna. damn. me and my dysfunctional genes. do i feel fortunate. pfft. okay, enough ranting.


so anyhow, i'm pretty "cheesed off" (or so my bio tuition teacher likes saying.) cos i can't seem to get the episodes of the OC and reunion downloaded. (although she, i mean my bio teacher, was referring to not being able to award marks when grading essays.) and i've been looking forward to it so much! talk about dashed hopes. dh better not do that to me on monday. i'll be absolutely depressed! so much for destressing. life's been a tad weird these days. nothing short of wanky but nothing more than extraordinary.


i hate it when teachers call me during my tuition classes. although it's only happened twice, but it sucks anyway. the first time was when pn prema called during physics class. traumatising to say the least, cos the class is absolutely tiny and anything i say is heard by every being in the room. even the mosquito which doesn't seem to die off and irritates me every week! what a pest. so anyway, pn many called me during bio tuition this week. weird. luckily bio's fun and comfortable enough for me to answer calls. hehe. yea, so she called to ask me to go to school to do the forecast results for the whole class. i'm so so so exploited! got a whole load of co-curricular slips to fill into a book too. and that caused me 2 back-breaking hours at the table last night! i'm such a pushover!


on to more important and life-determining things, i got short-listed for the help student achievers scholarship interviews which was today! the call came in during physics tuition, of all ironies. anyhow, went to help at around 12 and boy was i shocked to see SO many people milling about. yea, apparently there were many slots and even though i happened to have been scheduled for the 12 o'clock, (reached a bit before 12) i was given a whopping number 64! so yea, thank goodness for june and zarrin being there to keep me company. met pn chai, although i'm sure she has no clue who i am, faith whom i used to sit next to in edusmart tuition, rachel from the chs taylors debate team, zhen yuan who used to sit behind my in physics tuition but quit later on, win jean from my bu malay tuition, sara, who's my sister's ex-classmate form her first semester of help a-levels, and a whole bunch of other people from sri aman and chs. that was fun. hehe.


anyways, waited like 4 loooonnngggg nerve-wracking hours before it was my turn. i was the last of the 3 assuntarians who got short-listed. was freaked cos i didn't bring my original certificates whereas everyone else did and the coordinator was telling me it's procedure for any interview. that plus she introduced our interviewer to the group of us there as the marketing director, which made him so high up there and scary. aaaahh. anyhow, i got lucky cos mr willie tan didn't ask me for my original certs! weeee. was quite a relaxed interview where i basically talked about my co-curricular activities, the posts i held, co-curricular achievements, leadership qualities and academic qualifications. oh and i made up some crap about the only blasted subject which i got a 2a forecast for saying that i didn't have enough time to revise seeing as how i'd just returned from australia and that being one of the first subjects. haha. so i guess it didn't go too badly, but i forgot to mention lots of things, like how i'm the vice president of taekwondo and winning the petaling district choral speaking competition among other things. typical me. god, i hope i get into the next shortlist!


oooh, james blunt is playing on itunes! whee. his voice is a tad sexy. the whole husky, soprano thing he has going. too bad he's not in the slightest bit physically sexy. haha. the "you're beautiful" video made me cringe! in short, nothing to drool over. was discussing him with yuan and we came to the conclusion that he puts on his accents cos when he sings, some parts are english accented and some parts are american accented. wannabe! but i love his songs anyway. haha. how very paradox. okay, the song's stopped playing. so i shall stop bitching.


my dad and sister are in singapore watching bloody cirque du soleil! how annoyingly unfair! dad got the tickets from a business contact in singapore whom he's dealing with now. argh! why do businessmen know how to have fun too??? if they didn't i wouldn't be put through my current agony of not being able to watch quidam! daaayymmm. plus my sister gets to go shopping too! bleh. although i did go on a short trip to one u with my mom today. saw tons of nice stuff in zara which i'm dying to buy but won't fork out the cash for. it's times like these when i question why i'm not drowning in cash to satisfy all my whims and fancies. refrain. abstinence. refrain. abstinence. refrain. abstinence. refrain. abstinence. aaaahh. so much for shopping not being so appealing anymore.


i'm so cheong hei! i bet this is the biggest chore to read. i keep on and on ranting whimsically. haha. whatever. i'm going to chat with fun people now. tata.
