ooh, i'm a soap opera junkie.....haha! yea, i'm sucked in by all the sap. my sister calls it "this kind of meesua show". okay, so i have tons to update on. and knowing that just makes me soooo lazy! haha, okay so i'll start with trials then.
so after over 30 hours of sitting at the same exam table here's my verdict. trials have been, to say the least, annoying. and that's because i didn't finish studying my subjects as well as i would have liked to. i basically studied target chapters and flipped through the rest aeroplane speed which didn't give me good odds at all. especially bio. i hope i didn't flip the whole thing. my parents will totally flip on me. haha. except add math! i'm happy with what i got for the first paper, hopefully the second one will be just as good. damn, i've never done anything close to what i did for that paper so i'm just exhilarated. haha. okay, i'll shut up now. i was just called a freak because of my results. =D
hmmm, lou and yuan's joint party. theme-midsummer night's dream. haha, yuan kept insisting i should dress up. thank goodness i didn't! noone else did 'cept for yuan and family anyway. and hwei was wearing my dress! haha, that was classic. it was kind of awkward for me actually, because there weren't many people i knew but ended up hanging out with the assuntarians. that was cool, haven't hung out with them for a really long time. reached home at about 2 because of the post-merdeka-celebration jam all over kl. but that night was memorable. gave me an insight and a better perspective of a lot of things. *wink*
oooh! melbourne! that was a great trip. hung out a lot with ee lin and shen, met marilyn-my cousin's husband's cousin whom we hung out a lot with, and all my sister's summer school friends. they're really nice people, very funny, sweet and everything fluffy.hung out till late some nights having hot chocolate at THE best chocolate place ever! the pricing wasn't really to my liking though, exhorbitant! lol. bought the best chocolate there at max brenner's but didn't share it with anyone cos they cost tiny a-bombs, literally! went on a wine tasting road trip in the suburbs. that was cool. tasted almost 10 different types of wine. had champagne with cheese too which tasted superb together! had dinner every night with shen and ee lin at a variety of restaurants, talk about fattening machines. haha. it was all good but as the plane neared klia and i looked out onto the kl nightline, there was this surge of feeling for my home country. haha, take that for patriotism, ms umma!
oooh! my birthday! what'd i do? study. yea. i did. for the 2 hours i had add math lessons. lol. i just couldn't make myself sit down at the table. woke up late, had breakfast, cooked lunch for my brother, had tuition, then i got my presents! got an iPod from my dad, guess watch from my mom, dkny handbag from my siblings, emma page necklace from sui lin, ang pows from numerous relatives. hehe! erm, jtcy got me a handbag/purse set which is really nice. and had a great dinner at mum's place with everyone. had a really fun time hanging out with my cousins and family. was a really simple birthday but i truly did appreciate my family being there and i might say it was one of the best birthdays in my short span of 16 years.
today we went back to sitting in our normal class positions and boy did i realise how much i do miss my the banter with my friends. the whole day was ups and downs, but i was really happy most of the day. settled all the ceriathon stuff for tomorrow. i hoooppppppeeee against hope that it goes as planned. mainly because even though i'm not in charge, if anything goes bad it's me who'll be suffering the consequences. honestly. i'm not whining about responsibility but it seems to me that people don't want to do anything unless i push them to? or that nothing's planned and thought out well enough, and everything's always last minute! although all that was liberated by a simple small hand with scrawlings from some of my fellow classmates. that was really sweet. out of the blue and completely unexpected, just the surprise that made my day. will post that the next update because this is getting long enough. haha. i bet whoever's read this far is probably falling out of their chair in slumber. haha. i'm out!
