i see the light! oh my god, today, for the first time in like 3/4 days, i saw the sun a.k.a. the light! i never thought there'd be a time when i rejoice to see the sun come out from behind the clouds. really. today's been a much better day, the weather's not so humid, the air's not so acrid. wheeee! haha. yesterday i was talking to chris and he came up with that petition down there. lol. print it out, get signatures, scan them and send them to me. we must save the environment!
so this freaky/crazy/annoying/stupid thing happened to me today. my sis and i were at one u and we're just walking around heading towards the new wing, right? and then as we're passing the elevator, this weird guy dressed in all black with a black esprit bag just calls who's coming down it suddenly says "good morning." so we're just like "huh?" and continue walking cos we don't know him, but he calls out to us and starts asking us these weird questions on this perfume by lancome called miracle. yea. so i'm cautious about him cos he's promoting lancome but he's carrying an esprit bag which is really quite dumb. guy dressed in black clothes, carrying black esprit bag promoting lancome? suspicion meter overdrive!
so then he takes out this pink box which said mirage and was all,"we're getting feedback from our customers about mirage, which is coming out at the end of the year for 189rm." and he dabs some of it on the back of our hands. and me being miss suspicious just waves it around far away from my nose cos no way am i going to sniff something a stranger dabs on my hand. so we're like, oh it's not our type of fragrance. theennn, he takes out a blue box and does the same thing and we're like, it's more of a cologne than perfume. so by now he's forced one box into my sister's hands and he takes out another one and shoves it at me and says,"now the price is at 79 9 but for you i free one for you so you have standby birthday present." like wtf? so i just shove it right back and say,"thanks, but if we want them we'll just head over to the counter and get it later." stupid guy.
anyways, later i found out from my sister that two of her friends had been approached by the exact same guy already. and got conned into buying those products too. dumb guy. so moral of the story is, don't take things from strangers. lol, actually, don't buy anything from guys dressed in black, carrying black esprit bags and promoting lancome products. or something similar. haha. oh by the way, the air inside one u is hazy too.
i should go study now. i mean, after my daily tvb fix. ciao.
